I mix in a lot of these when I deejay. They really seem to liven up the crowd at picnics when I crank them. It's also great when someone comes up to let me know how much they enjoy my offbeat selections or say something like "Wow, I haven't heard that in years".

Being almost ten years older than you (62 this coming March) I need to pump up the volume just to hear them. Must be from too many years of shooting without hearing protection when I was a kid....................taminator013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3141116944573920581.post-9837247247209007402015-12-28T11:46:57.503-06:002015-12-28T11:46:57.503-06:00Thanks,now I have a couple more to discover..lol, ...Thanks,now I have a couple more to discover..lol, but I love finding new songs, looking at old houses...abandond...like someone should still be loving them...just like the music...so thanks again for feeding my addiction...and by the way Ken doesn't mind at all that I blast it as loud as possible, I mean I'm 52 not dead right!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13661170441563596213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3141116944573920581.post-35464191370690040722015-12-28T05:06:50.027-06:002015-12-28T05:06:50.027-06:00Glad you liked it. It's possible that you may have heard a snippet of it on a Dell Computer commercial that was around about 10 years ago. They were from down around Angel's stomping ground. I always thought it was cool when companies would dig up obscure tunes like that to use in ads. I think it was Range Rover who used "Have Love Will Travel" by the Sonics back around the same time. Another band that really screams them out. One of the lovely missus' favorites is "Psycho" by the Sonics. Great stuff to wake you up in the morning............................. taminator013noreply@blogger.com
