Breaks me down, every damn time.
"Wasted Time" the Eagles.

I know I've wasted most of my youth on a man who not only didn't love me, but doesn't even like me very much. My heart has been so broken and trashed, I don't think I'll ever be able to really love again. Not deeply and without reservation. Wasted fucking time.

Oh honey, don't let him win, Love Yourself enough to not let that happen. People only have the power you give them over you love. XO! It is a beautiful song, I feel you.

KEEP IT TOGETHER:

Dancing Queen - ABBA
Twist and Shout - Beatles

BREAK ME DOWN:

Brahms Violin concerto - Anna-Sophie Mutter, Herbert von Karajan, Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. The version when she was just 13 years old and the only female soloist permitted to play with the BPO up to that performance. Beauty, power, passion and a roller coaster of emotions. In the 70's, the now defunct Tower Records once named this concerto the Number One rock song of all-time, just ahead of Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" (no other classical work made it's list).

Can't We Still Be Friends? Todd Rundgren

Robo, I do believe Tower Records had a point.

A song that really helps me keep things together is Sound by James. It has a positive message, something that I'm not usually known for.

A song that really gets me going in the other direction is I Hope I Never by Split Enz.

The first time ever I saw your face, Roberta Flack. I still tear up even after 40+ years. Lot of blood under the bridge with that one. The up lifting one is Willy Nelsons On the road again. I played it loud and proud every time I took my boat out.
