I have to say that this music, and that of the previous post Ofra Harnoy, it does something to my throat...it constricts and then my breath catches...I can feel my pulse pound...Does it do the same to you?
I Took Another Walk In The Woods Today....
Want to come along, and see what I saw?
I stood there, and looked up and turned in a circle and took these photo's.
Then I walked a little and found some larger rocks...one of them looked like a skull to me...can you see it too?
They say moss doesn't grow on a rolling stone....looks like "they" are right!
So as I was tripping through the woods thinking...Hey there Little Red Riding Hood...lol not really..lmao..but I was keeping my eye out for the Big Bad Wolf or Papa Bear...I didn't want to run into either one of them! ; P
Anywho...I took a few pictures of other things...and here they are...
So that was my four tranquil, nature loving days, spent with a very special couple and I enjoyed every minute of it! Some of the time, I had earphones in my ears and at others I let the birds sing to me, and the forest floor speak as I walked through it's needle cushioned carpet.
We enjoyed wonderful conversation, much laughter, an array of gourmet food...and a pillow soft bed, my eyes opening to the sunshine and the tree filled sky...no rooftops, no utility poles, no satelite dishes......much like I dream of our home being in Tennessee.

What A Great Weekend!
I spent a wonderful weekend with my cousin Donita and her husband Jimmie this weekend at their cabin in Arnold, CA. It was so peaceful and relaxing. It was their 39th wedding anniversary...they are a really beautiful couple!
I went for a walk in the woods and took a few pictures...now, I am not a professional so keep that in mind...just enjoyed my walk...and here are a few to share it with you.

I started the day with having my coffee on the deck near the top of the trees...gosh it was beautiful...yes, I had a little music playing...gotta be me..but it was breathtaking.
This is the path down from their cabin through their property.
These chairs were sitting right there when they bought the property several years ago...and they just felt they belong...it looks like they have been there for many years...I think they would crumble if sat in...Below are views from the chairs.

Road Trip Songs ***New Game Alert***

Bimbimbap
This is traditionally a Korean dish made with Kimchi and marinated beef...I am not a big Kimchi fan...I like this alternative.
California Bimbimbap with Avocado & Kale
Ingredients:
- 1 cup uncooked brown rice, cooked
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 small zucchini, chopped
- 1/2 inch ginger finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove finely chopped
- 2 handfuls kale (or more, up to you) stems removed
- avocado slices
- sesame seeds
- 2 chopped green onions
- siracha (not Korean but oh well)
- egg (as many as you want, I just did one on each bowl)
Directions:
- Put a cup of cooked rice in each bowl.
- Saute zucchini, ginger and garlic in sesame oil over medium heat about 5 mins or until a little brown but not mushy.
- Remove zucchini from pan and put in on corner of bowl on top of rice.
- Keep pan hot over medium-high and add kale and 1 Tbsp water. Stir kale until wilted only about 30 seconds.
- Add kale to another corner of bowl.
- In same pan, add a little more oil and fry egg(s) until cooked but still a bit runny.
- Meanwhile, add avocado, green onions, sprinkle of sesame seeds and siracha.
- Top with fried egg and serve!
