Brass...Ahem...Balls... Or Lead....You Choose!!

Trump 2016!

NO...NOT HILLARY--->ANGEL!
Angel has the way of it, you may want to stop in and let her know that you agree with her response to this ignorant statement made by TefPoe.

My powder is dry.  I'm with you Angel!
Dear "young niggas",

Just so you know, white people are well armed and have plenty of ammo. And while we've been quiet these last eight years of racial extremism and division, make no mistake, when we are threatened, we will rain Hell down on you and everyone with you. Blood may flow and bodies may drop, but I guarantee it will be more of yours than ours.We will protect our families, friends, neighborhoods.

Sincerely,

Fed up with your shit

Good Morning! So Yummmmy!

One of my lovely friends, that stops in regularly, and comments....Granny,  Hello Doll! sent me a delicious blend of coffee from Australia, and let me tell you....it is luxurious!  I normally use a Keurig for a quick cuppa...but I broke out my French Press for this delectable brew!

Thank you Granny, I appreciate your thoughtfulness!

Felix The Cat~~ Uncle Bill

I have said before that my Dad was in the Army and we lived in Yokohama Japan when I was in middle school, 6th-8th grades.  I used to go off base and buy pencil cases, pencils, erasers...they smelled like candy...I would buy candy and gum and other silly things a girl would buy.  At the time the exchange was 300-320 yen to the dollar...so you can imagine, I got to buy a lot of stuff!  In comparison, today's rate of exchange is 104.8 yen to 1.00 dollar.

That was the first place I saw that you could buy cigarettes out of a machine on a street corner, the same with beer.  It was pretty odd...cool, but odd.  Once I thought I would run away...LMAO....got lost...I ran around asking where the BASE was and kept getting directed to the BATH HOUSES....no kidding....But honestly, the people were the nicest, most respectful I had ever met.

I always have had a thing for shoes....and well, don't let this get around, but Mom never feared me falling over because I have always had big feet...LOL...and yes, firmly planted on the ground, but when I would go into a shoe store to buy shoes in Japan, the ladies, and the men would all be amazed and call over the other clerks to see my beautiful large feet!
; P

Anyway, back to Felix the Cat.....my favorite gum....I ALWAYS had it on me, or I would run off base and get it before school would begin...it was Felix the Cat bubble gum....you see it blew the BEST bubbles...I LOVED that stuff!  Well a couple years ago I thought about it, and looked it up online and found I could order some from Jersey but it would cost me like 65.00 for a box of it...Well, this chick will never pay that kind of money for bubble gum....I mean, I could buy a cool pair of shoes or music instead yeah?  Ok, so the long way around a short story is, my cousin was on FB showing some candy her uncle sent her from Japan, (he goes there a lot on business, I think) and I commented, and told her about my Felix the Cat infatuation, and my love of the smell of the erasers......LOL....she is my favorite cousins daughter....Remember the post when I took a walk through the woods at my cousins ...ok, she is the one...WELL, her Uncle Bill saw my comments on FB and told her he would send me some gum....can you believe that?   How kind....I said nawww....don't worry about it, don't spend the money it cost to mail it....but yesterday, I received .....

A box of Felix the Cat Bubble Gum, and then some, and Erasers!

ありがとうございました Uncle Bill!

You Rock Dude, your kindness brought wonderful memories and huge smiles, as well as Big BUBBLES to my world!

Good Morning!~~Who Can It Be Now???

I was surfing the web and low and behold....I found this....It is amazingly familiar..the face that is.....she looks EXACTLY like Holly Kerodin....Scammy's wife....yes, you know....the one we actually laid eyes on in court....She is a little heavier in the picture, than she was in court..so I guess she diets also, either that or I guess death will do that to ya!

Wow though, I have to say, she looks great for her age....68?? And that was in 2013 (Scammy must like older women) Nothing wrong with that...I guess that would make her what 70-71 now?   Damn...you go girl!

Calgon, take her away...PLEASE!....or the FBI, it matters not!  Take Scammy too!  I would hate to break up a happy home!

Now, I have been quiet, and nice, and even made my blog private...and yet you persist....you are like ants at a picnic....but less fun.  Please, I am asking you nicely,  go away.  Don't make me go any further with this....it won't be pretty.

Knuckledraggin....Wirecutter.....Ken.....The Love Of My Life

My husband has been writing his blog for a few years now, I think 8...and he has a great readership. He is a wonderful writer, has a way with words, and is an excellent story teller.

One of the things I first liked about him was his ability to talk, and tell me a story. To take a drive and tell me the history of an area, or a building, or of the barbed wire stretched along a fence line for miles...where one type would stop and be spliced with another, what year it was made, type of tool used...you get the picture.  He was full of useless (to me), yet entertaining information and he completely charmed me. He took me to the foothills and showed me old toll roads, and wagon stops, and old homesteads that there was nothing left of but the foundations. He cared about maintaining the history of his home. It was pretty impressive...at the same

time...he had that kind of country boy humor going on.  I mean how could I resist right?  I didn't stand a chance.  He also let me play any music I wanted in his truck....anything, and didn't complain once....not a single time.  Now, he picks the music in the truck, always...wonder why that is? hmmmm.....

As we got to know one another, we discovered both our fathers were Viet Nam Vets, his father serving 2 tours, mine 3...he lived in Germany, I lived in Japan.....a set of Grandparents each lived 3 blocks from one another when we were growing up...I walked by his Grandfathers house every summer day to go swimming at the Red Shield...yup...in my bikini....but I don't remember him, and he doesn't remember me.... I can't even believe that's possible....lol

I was married before, and my first husband and I owned a home....it was about 1/2 a block from his friend Randy's house...the one he just wrote about on his blog....I worked in a local mini market during that time and he shopped there often...but I didn't know him then, and he didn't know me....

We can say a name of someone we used to know back in the day, and the other knows that person as well...but we never met...I figure at some point, somewhere, we must have just missed each other.

It's funny how life works out like that...I divorced my husband, worked for a school district for 10 years then decided it was time to get my sons away from the gangs and craziness in the valley and moved to Tennessee where I lived for over 15 years, made a life for myself and my sons, sold real estate, wrote mortgages.....made a good life...and then my little world crumbled. I don't want to go into the details at this time....but the end result is that I had to come back to California, and I did not want to....but coming back to California...brought me to Ken.

I used to go to the Library every Saturday morning, grab enough reading material to last a week...I was staying with my sister, had just gotten out of a wheelchair after a year....and I used her car on Saturday mornings, grabbed a Starbucks and did the Public Library...exciting life of Lisa.  I had noticed Ken  there before, smiled politely...as did he.....then one day, I had a pretty good stack of books and he offered to take them to the checkout...I let him, it was often awkward, I limped badly, and used a cane.  We started talking....the next thing I knew....we decided on having coffee and playing a game of backgammon...the rest as they say....is history.

Now, I know that with all his rough edges....he is one of the kindeest, most considerate men I have ever met in my life.  I also know he is a proud man.

He has done well on his blog, and while being told "You write that book, we will buy it!"....I don't think he really believes it...so I think, and this is my opinion, I am not clearing this with him, prior to posting,....he doesn't clear his with me...: ) But I think, this sticker idea is like a trial run for him...he wants to see if there really is an interest out there.  Also in all honesty, as a man, he is concerned with the fact that for the first time in 35 years he will be unemployed ....and he takes care of me...he takes that quite seriously.....but I never doubt him or his ability...we have saved, we are Pre Qualified for our home loan, so we are in an ok position, but he feels he needs to do this, so I support him....Gosh I love that man so.

So, if you are so inclined, and you do have interest in his Stickers and his Writing a Book and or possibly Tshirts, please go to the link.... I Love This Man and let him know.....he can do this.  He will succeed. I believe in him.....and I believe his readership does as well.

Thank you all for taking the time to read my little story....seems I tell more and more of myself as the days go by....not sure how to continue blogging without doing so. Thank you all for your kindness and your support.

p.s. Ken is not lazy, nor is he shiftless, he does not come home late at night....unless he has been fishing, or coyote hunting.....but the song says to me, that regardless of what others think...I can't help, but love that man of mine....Just thought I would clear that up....oh....and when there is work to be done...he works along side me....or tells me to sit down. Thanks again for taking the time to listen.

Been Too Good

Thank you, each one...I will be good...well, ok, I will try Grandpa! ; )  I do really appreciate all the kind words, and prayer..they uplifted me, as well as Ken...we are truly blessed to have so much support from so many kind people.  I am amazed and humbled by it....thank you.

Though we have not met in person...we exchange few words on little blogs out here in the universe...our lives are still touched by you...and I hope and pray that somehow, someway...we are able to in turn, pay that forward, and be there for those in need as well. You all set a high standard, that as a couple, we shall cling together and strive to meet.

Again...I cannot express my gratitude enough. Bless You!

I'm Home

Thank you God, Ken, And Each And Every Single One Of You for Your Prayers....I am home, I am fine...I am tired...but I am good...thank you from the bottom of my heart for your prayers and well wishes. I woke this morning at 6 in the hospital, opened my kindle, and went online, thinking about Ken, and checked his blog for a message..: ) just a thing.. and I saw all those messages from you all...and it brought tears to my eyes...so kind, soooo considerate, so special. Soooo, THANK YOU! I don't normally need others to determine my value, but I have to admit, you all certainly made me feel pretty darn special. : )
