Thanks for the laughs. How is your count down doing? My baby girl will be here in 27 days. The last week will be a cleaning frenzy just to keep busy.
I am cleaning and packing, and cleaning up again...getting ready for a yard sale and making a collection for Ken to take to the dump. We decided if anything doesn't sale....Alzheimer's Thrift donation it will go, or to Veteran's facility. I have found it incredibly difficult to part with one gravy boat or serving platter or soup terrine. I just have a thing for them...lol But the countdown has begun in my head too....getting excited! : )
May I make a suggestion? No matter how fond you are of the bits and pieces, if you don't use it more than once every few years, tear yourself away from it. remember, you own it, it doesn't own you. Pare down the pile of gotta haves, then pare it down again, until you get to ruthless, then you will have the things that you must keep. It's the memories associated with 'things' that keep you hanging on to them. Keep the memories and dump the weight. Happy Anniversary you lucky, lucky woman.
