I was never a real big fan of Cat Stevens until I saw the film "Harold and Maude". Then I loved a couple songs that they played in there, especially "Trouble" and "If You Want To Sing Out, Sing Out". They are perfectly in context in the movie. Too bad that he went wacko and converted to Islam.............
T.Wrangler, I am the same, I separate the two, Cat vs. Yusuf..even visually, as well as the song, simple elegant, sad yes, but there is something beautiful in that.

"sad Lisa" is the saddest song ever written, beautiful and elegant.
I find it best to consider Cat Stevens and Yusuf Islam as two separate people.
That way I don't have to throw the baby out with the bathwater...
