Hi, I'm Lisa, here's where I come to share music. It's THE gift that keeps on giving, It knows how you feel, always. I'll also throw in some tasteless humor, and maybe a game or two. Let me know what you like, and what you don't.....You can also reach me at lisalane6349@gmail.com
I went out to Dad's shop today, and he was listening to old 8 tracs...so I started looking through them, and found one of Fannie Flagg...which brought me inside to the computer to post one, while I was posting...just could not help myself! : ) Gave me a good laugh!
Memories. She co-starred with Tom York on Channel 6 in Birmingham. Country Boy Eddie with the live early morning country music show, with his famous mule 'Fotter Fosil" sp? on the black and white tv....
That is awesome! My dad and I share music...I attribute my love of it to him...some of my earliest memories are of him and the different music he listened to while polishing his boots in the morning, and drinking his coffee. I would wake up early in the morn just to hear what he would play on the reel to reel....we share it now, he gets me albums, and vice versa...it's special to me.
My dad died on duty when I was only 20 years old...43 years ago...and mom joined him 5 years later. Pardon me if I have a wee bit of envy that others have been blessed to have their parents with them for so long. You are truly blessed.

Oh my word! Grew up with Miss Fanny on the tv in Birmingham, but never saw this clip (which is probably a good thing, lol). Thanks for posting it.
