BABYMETAL for performing!
Babymetal is a Japanese metal idol band. Their line-up consists of Suzuka Nakamoto as "Su-metal", Yui Mizuno as "Yuimetal", and Moa Kikuchi as "Moametal". The concept of the group is a fusion of the metal and idol genres. ***Wikipedia

My other love is Wagakki Band. It is reportedly now #1 in Japan. It is even more remarkable when I consider that EVERYTHING about Wagakki Band is the vision of ONE woman. The singer and lead Yuko Suzuhanna. If you want to have some fun with Kenny's head. Google up "Kissanime". Go to the update bar and go to page four or five (it was four this morning but they move) and select "Cat Shit One" (dub) is in English. "Cat Shit One" (sub) is in Japanese.---Ray
Baby Metal=corporate metal.
These girls are the real deal...

Yes sedition, But it was never supposed to be anything else. It never claimed to be anything but what it is.---Ray
I hear ya Anon. I just don't have much respect for corp bands. My brother and I were in bands back in the 80s. ...we actually had to learn to play our instruments. We had to write our own songs. We weren't some Villie Manillie make believes...we had to earn our crowds.
Unfortunately, these girls are being exploited. They're not much more than dancers in school girl uniforms.
But, they will make their money for the moment from the masses and will be just as quickly forgotten when the cuteness wears off.
In fact they ARE school girls. The oldest one is 16 the two in front are 14. When they formed they were 14 and 12. Japanese "Idol" girl groups form at 8-10 years old "age out" at 12-13, so this is actually the second go-round for the girls of "BabyMetal". The three girls in this band probably only have a year or two before they too "age out" and are ether replaced or the band is disbanded. Such are the mysterious ways of the Japanese entertainment industry. There are genuine self formed girl bands in Japan. "Scandal" is one that formed in high school. They met every day that they could and played everywhere they could(like train platforms) for two years until they were noticed and got a contract.---Ray
