My Dad has birdhouses and feeders all over his back yard. He sits in his recliner with his binoculars and watches the birds...he came and got me when this lovely arrived. He said they mate for life...The Cardinal male is red, the female is brown...she is in the first photo..they were together, and they come by everyday.but she flew away and he hung around. I will have to practice a bit more with the camera to get cleaner shots.

In Memphis the hummingbirds showed up between April 1 and 10th. Does he have feeders for them.

Hi Terry, yes Dad has many Hummingbird feeders around the yard...he just loves to watch the birds!...I mean boids...lol...notice the category that this post is listed as...just for Chickenmom!
