We Three Kings and Silent Night---by Mannheim Steamroller on their Christmas album.
Well, tis tis a easy request, first,A Christmas Song by Jethro Tull, then another Tull holiday classic,Jack Frost And The Hooded Crow.Listen to the lyrics folks, there is a message there the world would do well to learn,Happy Solistice and Merry Christmas all!Smile, each day now brings a little more sunlight, well, till June 21 anyhow!
Many favs, mostly the old traditionals and a few newer versions of same. Couple worth mentioning would be Mele Kalikimaka by Jimmy Buffett and I Believe in Father Christmas by Emerson, Lake and Palmer.
I ran across a tune a few days ago on Irish's site : Ashes in the Sea by Antoine Dufour. It knocked my socks off and I had to buy it on ITunes. Watching the video Irish posted makes it even more impressive.
I have played every song that you all have left for me...and gosh what a variety, some came in as emails so they are not posted...but WOW, talk about blasts from the past....Awesome tunes! Some I have never heard of, a couple I was like really that's who!!! Right ON! Thanks so much. I have listened to every single one...and then some...keep em coming....I am totally diggin this! Yeah, I have been told before...I talk funny...that's why I like music maybe..: P
For a more humorous note, try the 12 pains of Christmas, really does seem to cover the gambit of fiascos at the holidays, the guy and his frustration with the lights is excellent!
Hi Doonhamer, was not able to get your song. It just took me to my Youtube page...so if you would like to name that tune...I would be happy to hear it. Merry Christmas!
From Doonhamer. We Fond Kiss sung by Karen Mathheson and Paul Brady. I think it is taken from " Celtic Connections" - a UK music programme (program). .....and a Happy New Year to you.
Hey Irish, I don't have Pandora, but I Spotify..and have done just what you suggested and have all my Dufour sets and it does suggest similar artists as well. I think this was the best idea I have ever had, I have gotten so much response, it really is like a new present each song suggested, and I am sooo enjoying....music is my outlet...I mentioned to someone else, I love music, and architecture, but especially old abandoned houses...they need to be loved again, brought back, I like finding out who, what and why someone walked away from everything and left it ..but anyway...thank you again!

I have a list about 27 miles long and it depends on the mood that I'm in, but the three that popped into my head were:
You're Gonna Miss Me - 13th Floor Elevators
I'm Not Like Everybody Else - Kinks
Let Me Be - Turtles
Any one of those will do..............
Yeah, I know I'm weird, but I'm not like everybody else.
Anything by Post Modern Jukebox.
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas - Judy Garland.
Royals - ("Sad Clown With The Golden Voice" Version) - Lorde Cover

Hard to pick a 'favorite' but this ( and its many renditions) is pretty high on the list.

I Can't Make You Love Me by Bonnie Raitt
Hi Lisa, Glad you enjoyed the song Ashes in the sea. Sorry to get back to you so late. Things have been hectic.
If you have Pandora radio, you can create a station for Antoine Dufour and get some other similar artists.
Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to you.
